Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Brea, CA – Full-Time, Onsite
Position Description
As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our PCB manufacturing facility in Brea, CA. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in electrical, mechanical, and facility maintenance systems. The ideal candidate is proactive, safety-conscious, and skilled in troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain and repair CNC machines, lamination presses, plating lines, chillers, compressors, and other specialized equipment.
- Diagnose and service 3-phase motors, DC motors, heaters, sensors, blowers, pumps, and conveyor systems.
- Work safely on electrical panels and control cabinets; repair or replace PLCs, relay and contactor systems.
- Maintain plumbing systems, including sweat copper, threaded pipe, PVC, and Poly Pro.
- Support facility maintenance including carpentry, welding, minor roof repairs, and chemical handling.
- Inspect and maintain fire protection, alarm, and HVAC systems.
- Install and integrate new equipment with existing systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate issues to management.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve uptime and operational efficiency.
- Be available for overtime, weekend work, and emergency repair calls as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (PCB or semiconductor a plus).
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and facility systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of manufacturing and utility equipment.
- Experience with CNC machinery, PLC systems, and diagnostic tools.
- Skilled in safe use of hand and power tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- HVAC or building maintenance certification is a plus.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
Hourly Pay: $30 - $35 per hour
Compensation based on relevant experience, education, certifications, and skills.
