Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Brea, CA – Full-Time, Onsite

Position Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing facility. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and facility maintenance. The ideal candidate is proactive, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while adhering to industry regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems to maintain compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Perform electrical maintenance, including replacing light bulbs, and sockets, and repairing circuit breaker panels.
  • Assist with HVAC and refrigeration system installation, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Maintain plumbing/industrial plumbing and heating systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Conduct inspections of alarm and fire protection systems, scheduling necessary repairs.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, and minor facility repairs.
  • Execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and report issues to management promptly.
  • Repair and/or replace industrial equipment including PLC’s, relay and contactor systems.
  • Must be able to work in a chemical environment such as plating lines and chemical treatment systems.
  • Diagnose and repair/replace 3 phase motors, blowers, conveyorized drivelines, pumps, spray systems, DC motors, heaters, level sensors, thermocouples, proximity sensors, belts and drive gears.

Job Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment and facility systems.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as basic diagnostic equipment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as certification in HVAC, building maintenance, or related fields, is a plus.
  • A Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Hourly Pay:

$24 - $30 per hour
Compensation is based on relevant experience, education, certifications, and specialized skills.
