Winonics, an Additive Circuits Technologies, LLC Company located in Brea, CA, is currently executing a multi-million dollar facility-wide renovation plan that includes extensive equipment and technology upgrades along with well-designed and purposeful infrastructure improvements to support lean six sigma manufacturing.
Once completed, the new state-of-the-art facility will offer a vision into advanced technology PCB fabrication with the expectations of creating a world-class PCB manufacturing facility and a research and development center for the company’s patented additive manufacturing technology.
The newly upgraded facility will be best in class and will be capable of supporting emerging technologies in aerospace and defense industries, life-critical medical devices, next-gen automotive safety, autonomous driving sensors, RF/Microwave/mmWave communications and enabled 5G connectivity.
Electrical test Technician - PCB Job Description:
The Electrical Test Technician is responsible for the assigned day-to-day functions within the Electrical Test department; Ensuring compliance with the department’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and customers’ guidelines and requirements. Uses discretion to make independent decisions, applying knowledge of industry best practices, travelers, and SOPs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Test printed circuit boards using ATG and Microcraft Flying Probe Equipment as prescribed by Production traveler, specifications and quality assurance instructions to ensure compliance with established quality parameters and reliability standards.
- Prepare and complete all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of tested items.
- Keep Electrical Test Supervisor informed of Quality issues.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be able to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to follow established job instructions and procedures with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Bare board Electrical Test equipment and Rework skills.
- Basic understanding of PCB manufacturing, prior experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds without straining
- Additional knowledge of Data preparation and programming for Microcraft and/or ATG is a plus
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with rigid, flex and rigid/flex boards is a plus.
- Familiar with IPC 6012 spec and other PCB industry specs.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a team player and work well in a team environment.
- Must be available to work overtime, when needed.
