Position: Controller
Location: Brea, CA – Full-Time Onsite
Position Description
As Controller, you will serve as a key financial strategist and business partner, working closely with senior leadership to enhance financial performance and drive profitability. You will oversee all aspects of financial planning, reporting, cost control, and compliance, ensuring the company’s financial health and scalability. This role is ideal for a proactive, solutions-oriented leader with a strong background in manufacturing finance and a track record of driving business results.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, delivering actionable insights to leadership.
- Develop and refine financial models and KPIs, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Partner with operations, production, and supply chain teams to optimize cost structures and improve efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and financial regulations.
- Oversee inventory valuation and cost accounting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing accounting team, fostering continuous development and process improvement.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and CPA firms for audits and tax matters.
- Lead financial initiatives and cross-functional projects to support business growth and operational scalability.
- Oversee Yardi accounting software, ensuring accurate reporting and system optimization.
Job Qualifications
- Proven financial leadership in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 3+ years in a finance management role, with strong expertise in cost accounting and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong strategic mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, lead cross-functional initiatives, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements
As this role involves responsibilities related to payroll, accounts payable, and cash handling, candidates will be subject to a credit check in addition to the standard background screening process. A candidate’s credit history will be evaluated in relation to the financial responsibilities of the position, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Salary
$125,000 – $150,000
Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for performance-based incentives.
