WINONICS is about to reveal the future of electronics manufacturing and we’d like you to join us as we grow!
Winonics, an Additive Circuits Technologies, LLC Company located in Brea, CA, is currently executing a multi-million dollar facility-wide renovation plan that includes extensive equipment and technology upgrades along with well-designed and purposeful infrastructure improvements to support lean six sigma manufacturing.
Once completed, the new state-of-the-art facility will offer a vision into advanced technology PCB fabrication with the expectations of creating a world-class PCB manufacturing facility and a research and development center for the company’s patented additive manufacturing technology.
The newly upgraded facility will be best in class and will be capable of supporting emerging technologies in aerospace and defense industries, life-critical medical devices, next-gen automotive safety, autonomous driving sensors, RF/Microwave/mmWave communications and enabled 5G connectivity.
1st and 2nd shifts
Job Purpose:
Operations of etching, stripping and cleaning for Printed Circuits Board manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning the PCB panels/parts to remove any dirt, grease, or contaminants. The cleaning process typically involves the use of chemical acids, solvents, alumina grit slurry, ultrasonic cleaning, or water-based cleaning solutions..
- Ammonia etching is used to remove excess copper from the PCB surface, leaving behind the desired circuitry pattern. A masking material, such as a photoresist, is applied to protect the areas that should remain copper. The PCB is then submerged in an etchant solution, usually an acidic solution such as ferric chloride or ammonium persulfate, which dissolves the exposed copper
- After etching, stripping of photoresist prior to etch-stripping chemicals, such as alkaline-based solutions or organic solvents, are used for this purpose.
- Cleaning prior to solder mask application using cleaning methods as stated above .
- Silkscreen printing adds markings, text, logos, and component designators to the PCB. A solder-resistant epoxy ink is applied via an inkjet printer onto the PCB surface.
- Final Cleaning: Final cleaning PCB’s to ensures that any residues or contaminants from previous processes are removed. This step involves rinsing the PCB with deionized water, alcohol and soap, followed by drying.
- The steps above represent a general overview of the wet process position. The specific details and parameters may vary depending on requirements. Training will be provided as necessary. Cross-training for other departments will also occur as needed.
- Read and interpret production traveler and notes for special requirements.
- Enter jobs and quality information in the Manufacturing Control System. PROM's ProCIM experience as plus
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in (PCB) wet processing.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
- Able to lift 50 pounds without straining, and be able to stand throughout the shift
- Ability to Work Under Pressure.
- The candidate must have good written and oral communications skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality laminated PCBs.
- Regular attendance is an essential function for this position.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations related to PCB manufacturing.
Pay Range:
- $34 - 44K
