Winonics, an Additive Circuits Technologies, LLC Company located in Brea, CA, is currently executing a multi-million dollar facility-wide renovation plan that includes extensive equipment and technology upgrades along with well-designed and purposeful infrastructure improvements to support lean six sigma manufacturing.
Once completed, the new state-of-the-art facility will offer a vision into advanced technology PCB fabrication with the expectations of creating a world-class PCB manufacturing facility and a research and development center for the company’s patented additive manufacturing technology.
The newly upgraded facility will be best in class and will be capable of supporting emerging technologies in aerospace and defense industries, life-critical medical devices, next-gen automotive safety, autonomous driving sensors, RF/Microwave/mmWave communications and enabled 5G connectivity.
Position:
Lab Technician: The Lab Lead leads the day to day functions of the Quality Assurance Lab and performs/ oversees cross sectional and chemical analysis to assure the proper function of multiple chemical processes and the delivery of high quality commercial and military printed circuit boards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs and oversees microscopic cross sectional analysis and tests to ensure processes and delivered product are within specified requirements.
- Overseas laboratory, methods and procedures.
- Ensures the accurate daily recording of analysis and cross-sectional examinations.
- Maintains inventory of laboratory.
- Advises in safety procedures for chemicals.
- Notifies production manager and quality manager about quality problems.
- Plans workload distribution and makes schedules to support production needs.
- Assists in the evaluation of lab technician’s performance.
- Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of the laboratory equipment and facilities.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum five years’ experience in the printed circuit board industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of the basic principals and labatory.
- Responsibility to use laboratory equipment and computer software used in the analysis of chemistry and cross sections photographs and reports.
- Working knowledge of military and commercial specs for rigid, rigid flex printed circuit boards.
- Application of chemistry.
- Make cross section reports accurately with no supervision.
- Ability to work with other departmental staff and managers in a positive and successful manner.
- Ability to supervise others in a dynamic, fast paced and often stressful environment.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and work overtime as needed.
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years dry and wet lab experience.
- High School/GED
- Electronic, PCB knowledge.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Have a good knowledge of process chemistry and ability to work around chemicals, such as, acids, alkalis, solvents and such.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks accordingly.
